Myrna Rozelle (Kitchens) Lummus

Mrs. Myrna Rozelle Kitchens Lummus, age 75 of Jackson passed away at her residence Friday, April 5, 2024, surrounded by her family. She was born Tuesday, March 15, 1949, in Griffin to the late Alton & Willie Mae McMichael Kitchens. She was a graduate of Jackson High School and had been employed with Pioneer Credit for over 25 years. She was an animal lover, she loved to watch the Food Network and Tyler Perry movies, and spending quality time with her family. She was a member of the Worthville Baptist Church.

She was married to the late Darrell Lee “Butch” Lummus for 44 years at the time of his death in November of 2019. Survivors include her daughter, Tiffany Lummus, son-in-law Brian Jacobsen, and granddaughter Sev “Boogie” Jacobsen. 

Funeral Services for Mrs. Myrna Rozelle Kitchens Lummus will be held in the Chapel of Haisten Funeral Home, Saturday, April 13 at 2 PM, Rev. Bob Hooks will officiate. Interment will follow the Service in the Worthville Baptist Church Cemetery. The Family will receive friends immediately prior to the Service, beginning at 1 PM.
