Annie Ruth Waits

Annie Ruth Waits, age 90 passed away Thursday March 3, 2022 at Sacred Journey Hospice in McDonough. She was born Saturday September 26, 1931 in Juliette GA to the late George Corley, Jr. & Agnes Wilson Corley. She was a homemaker and the wife of the late Carlton Herbert Waits who passed away in May of 1985. She was a Baptist and she enjoyed arts and crafts and she loved to go fishing.

She is survived by two sons; Kenneth Herbert (Kenny) & Terri Waits and Robert Michael Waits, one daughter; Barbara Ann & Harry Phillips five grandchildren; Devon Waits, Duston Waits, Misty Johnson, Justin & Becky Phillips, Kodi Phillips & John Sloan four great grandchildren; Dakota, Gavin, Troy and Noelle, two siblings; Mitchell Corley and Shirley Daniels. In addition to her parents and husband she is preceded in death by three brothers; Gene Corley, Robert Corley and Marvin Corley, four sisters; Alma Crawford, Louise Corley, Janie Mays and Doris Tidwell.

Funeral Services for Annie Ruth Waits will be Sunday March 6, 2022 at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Haisten Funeral Home, Dr. Ed Hoard will officiate.
