Betty Ruth Darnell

Betty Ruth Darnell, age 89, peacefully passed away late Sunday, June 12, 2022 at Westbury Center of Jackson for Nursing and Healing with her loving Family at her side. Betty was born to the late Thomas Jess & Flora Parker Kitchens on Tuesday, April 11, 1933 in Covington, GA. She retired from The Kym Co. after 43 years of service.

Betty is survived by her daughter and son in law; Faye & Murry Moncrief, granddaughter; Amanda & Timmy Fuller, great-grandchildren; Caine Fuller and Kayla Fuller, special niece; Angie Ellard, and special friends; John & Traci Anderson. Along with her parents she is preceded in death by her husband of 71 years, James Clifford (Cliff) Darnell, who passed away in January of 2020, brothers;  Thomas Luke Kitchens, and Johnny Kitchens, sisters; Gaynell Quinn and Ruby Hill.

Funeral Services for Betty Ruth Darnell will be held Thursday, June 16, at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Haisten Funeral Home, Mr. Rudy Mangham will officiate. Burial will follow the Service in the Sandy Creek Cemetery. The Family will receive friends Thursday June 16  beginning at noon at the Funeral Home.
