William Ray “Bill” Yell, age 74, of Monticello, GA passed away Thursday, February 18, 2016 at Pruitt Health Care in Monroe County. He was born in Trenton, GA January 24, 1942 son of the late Raymond Lee Yell and Lou Brillie Tinker Yell. Bill was a driver for Greyhound Bus Lines for over 40 years. Survivors include his wife, Jennifer Jean Moss Yell, daughter, Sherry and Randy Tyler, sons, Steven and Rebecca Yell and Darrel Yell, six grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, step granddaughter, Katelyn Whatley, brothers, Charles and Faye Yell, Ivan and Rosemary Yell, sisters, Ruby and Gary Denham, Edna and Tom Smith and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for Bill Yell will be Saturday, February 20, 2016 at 11 AM at the graveside in Old Bethel Cemetery in Butts County. Rev. Charles Yell will officiate with interment in the Old Bethel Cemetery.
