Carole Elaine (Waits) Dean

Mrs. Carole Elaine Waits Dean, a beacon of love in her community, passed away peacefully on December 23, 2025, in her hometown of Jackson. Born on April 5, 1948, to the late Edward and Jane Waits, Carole's life was a testament to the enduring power of faith and family.
A resident of Butts County, Carole graduated from Jackson High School in 1966. Her professional journey culminated in a fulfilling career with the State of Georgia Department of Pardon & Parole, where she served with distinction until her retirement.
Carole's life was grounded in her Baptist faith. She found solace and joy in her later years watching Sunday morning church services on TV, a practice that nurtured her spirit and reinforced the values she held dear.

Family was the cornerstone of Carole's world. She is survived by her loving children, Chad Dean, Brad & Saralicia Dean, and her adored grandchildren, Carly, Fabian, Aubri, Christopher, Raelin, Cade, Bayleigh. Her legacy also lives on through her three great-grandchildren, who brought immense joy to her later years. Carole's siblings, Terry Waits, Donna Britton, and Becky Aly, will remember her as a sister who enriched their lives with love and laughter. She was preceded in death by her brother, Scott Waits, and her parents, leaving behind a family grateful for her presence in their lives.



A graveside service to honor the life of Mrs. Carole Elaine Waits Dean will be held on Monday, December 29, 2025, at 2 PM in the Jackson City Cemetery. Friends and loved ones are invited to gather for visitation at the cemetery beginning at 1 PM, Mr. Phil Britton, will officiate the service. As we bid farewell to Carole, we celebrate a life rich in love and service. Her spirit, a guiding light for all who knew her, will continue to shine in the memories we hold dear. Carole's journey on earth has ended, but her story—etched in the hearts of those she loved—will endure forever.
