Mr. Carson Everett Truett, age 78, of Monticello, quietly passed away at his residence Monday morning October 20, 2025. Mr. Truett was born to the late Wade William Truett & Elma Blackman Truett on Sunday July 6, 1947, in Darlington, SC. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his best friend and wife of 28 years Yvonne Louise Truett, his son; Christopher Truett, 2 brothers; Wade Truett, Jr. and Howard Truett, along with 4 sisters; Lynn Berkshire, Helen Hall, Lilly-May Truett and Peggy Martin. Mr. Truett was a self-employed truck driver and co-owned a small engine repair shop with his son and was a member of The Rock Church in Jenkinsburg. He loved to cook boiled peanuts and adored spending time with his children and grandchildren.
His numerous friends and Family will cherish his memory for years to come. Mr. Truett is survived by 2 daughters; Tonya Watkins and Kimberly McClendon and his grandchildren; Amber Jo Mattison, Destany & Hannah Watkins, Halie Watkins, Christopher Truett, Jr., Kenneth Truett, Braxton & Maverick Martin, Stella & Kylar McEntyre, Kalliegh & Kysen Watkins, Scarlett Mattison and Ansley Jade. Mr. Truett is also survived by his brother Ray Truett.
At the present time there are no services planned for Mr. Carson Everett Truett.
