Catherine Sue Kitchens

Catherine (Cathy) Sue Long Kitchens, 62 of Flovilla, GA passed away April 14, 2019 at Eternal Hope Hospice in Griffin, GA. She was born in Atlanta, GA August, 10 1956 daughter of the late John Billy Long and the late Martha Cawthon Stewart. She was married to Timothy (Tim) Scott Kitchens for 32 ½ years and worked at the Sunshine Day Care School at Macedonia Baptist Church for 12 years.

Survivors include her step father, James Horace Stewart, her husband, Timothy (Tim) Scott Kitchens; children, Rachael Goodman and (Robert), Alicia Kitchens, Lee Kitchens and (Shannon), Molly Kitchens, and Lucas Kitchens; siblings, Carol Barber (George), John Long, Cyndi Stewart Foshee, Kathryn Stewart, Alisha Reynolds, and Jimmy Stewart (Joyce); 5 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Memorial services for Catherine (Cathy) Sue Long Kitchens will be held Wednesday, April 17, 2019 at 2:00 PM at the Macedonia Baptist Church. Rev. Lane Sanders and Eddie Sisson will officiate; there will be a visitation one hour prior to the service. Visitation will be held Tuesday, April 16, 2019 at the Haisten Funeral Home from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM.
