Connie Elizabeth Perkins Moore, age 61, of Jackson, GA passed away Saturday, January 13, 2018 at Piedmont Hospital in Atlanta. She was born in Griffin, GA July 25, 1956 daughter of the late William Douglas Perkins and Margaret Elizabeth Gunter Perkins. She worked for Pilot as a shift manager and was a member of the New Hope Baptist Church near Zebulon, GA.


Survivors include her husband, James Moore, daughters, Candace and Brandon Hermsmeier and Claire Moore; mother, Margaret Elizabeth Gunter Perkins; grandchildren, Harper Hermsmeier and Garrett Hermsmeier; sisters, Deborah Vaughn and Susie Shaw; brothers, Wayne Perkins, Bobby Perkins and Neal Perkins and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a sister, Cathy Grant.


Funeral services for Connie Elizabeth Perkins Moore will be Thursday, January 18, 2018 at 2:00PM at the Mt. Vernon Baptist Church with Rev. Mike Saffles officiating. She will be carried to the church one hour prior to the service.
