Constance (Connie) Viola Edge

Mrs. Constance Viola (Connie) Edge affectionately known as “Mimi”, age 78 of Jackson, passed away Saturday morning, July 26, 2025, at Eternal Hope Hospice in Griffin.  She was born on Saturday November 16, 1946, in Atlanta to the late Charles Edward & Triever Bell Patton. She was a member of the Nativity Episcopal Church in Fayetteville, she graduated from College Park High School in the class of 1964 then attended Tift College, before beginning her association with REMAX where she was a Top Producing Real Estate Agent numerous times throughout her 40-year career. Connie and her family relocated to Jackson from Fayetteville over 20 years ago after falling in love with the Jackson Lake community. Her hobbies included traveling and shopping, but her greatest love was being with her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and her loving husband of 60 years.

She is survived by her devoted husband, Michael Curtis Edge, children;  Angela & Jeff West of Jackson, and Scott Edge & Robert Callahan (deceased) of Greensboro, NC, grandchildren; Justin & Tessie West, Hunter & Katie West and Madilyn West, great grandchildren: Eden West, Evelyn West and Grant West who will be arriving soon. Sister, Debbie & Bill Greak of Gulf Shores, AL, sister-in-law Susan Burrell & Scott Burrell (deceased) Moreland, GA, brother-in-law, Steve Edge  & Deanna White, Palmetto, GA and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. She was also “Mimi” to many family friends.

A Memorial Service for Mrs. Constance Viola (Connie) Edge will be held in the Chapel of Haisten Funeral Home on Thursday July 31, 2025, at 3 PM, Dr. Ed Hoard will officiate. There will not be a conventional visitation. Condolences may be expressed online by visiting www.haistenfuneral.com
