Danny Ray Wallace, Sr.

Mr. Danny Ray Wallace Sr. was born on January 5, 1948 in Austell, GA.  He attended Clarkston High School and was a successful entrepreneur owning and operating four different businesses throughout his lifetime.

Danny is preceded in death by his parents William Fred Wallace and Bessie Cox Wallace, his sisters Shirley Wallace and Barbara Cooper, his brother Freddy Wallace.

Danny passed away peacefully on January 2, 2021 at his residence in Jackson, GA surrounded by his loved ones and his best canine friend, Coco.

Danny was a hard worker, loyal friend, and a great father and husband.  He loved everything outdoors.  He enjoyed fishing, hunting, tinkering in his shop, riding his tractor and Bobcat, watching movies, and spending time with his family.

Danny is survived by the love of his life and wife of forty years, Paulette Taylor Wallace of Jackson, GA; his daughters Cathy Wallace of Barnesville, Ga, Sandy and (Jonathan) Manning of Williamson, GA, Amber and (Merrell) Mayfield of Jackson,   GA; his son Ray Wallace of Dahlonega, GA;  9 grandchildren Christina, Ashley, Katelyn, Chance’, Mallorie, Gunner, Braelyn, Brevin, Reese; 4 great-grandchildren Briauna, Adon, Alena, Briella; special friend Andy; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Due to precautions against Covid-19, a private family service will be held on Saturday, January 9, 2021 at Faith Tabernacle Church in Conyers, GA.  His family is honoring his wishes of cremation. 

The family of the late Danny Wallace Sr. would like to express our sincere and heartfelt appreciation for the many gestures of kindness that have been shown towards us during these sad and trying hours.  Our prayer is that God will forever bless you and keep you in his wondrous love.
