Obituary
Donald Robert Hasty, age 82, passed away Friday evening June 24, 2022 at his residence with his Family at his side. Don was born Wednesday, May 29, 1940 in Donalsonville, GA . He was one of three children born to the late William Absolam & Fannie Mae Conrad Hasty.
After graduation from High School, he joined the United States Air Force before attending The Seventh day Adventist College. Don was a self-employed heavy equipment operator in the construction business and was considered a “Jack of all trades.”
Along with his parents, Don is preceded in death by his wife of 50 years, Margaret Maddox Hasty, who passed away in December of 2015 and one brother; Wallace Hasty. He is survived by two daughters; Charman Hasty and Dawn Vorel , and one son; Robert Hasty, along with 8 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren and one brother; Jimmy Hasty.
