Donnie M. Benton, Sr.

Donnie M. Benton, Sr., age 76, passed away late Saturday, December 12, 2020 at the Spalding Regional Hospital. He was born Friday, September 8, 1944 in Barnesville Georgia to the late Harding & Martha Mann Benton.

Donnie was a retired Vice President of the Kym Co. in Jackson Georgia. He was a member of Rock Springs Church in Milner. He enjoyed working in his shop, and particularly being around his many friends.

Donnie is survived by his children Don Benton, Lisa Benton and Selina DeFronzo, grandson; Taylor Banks and great grand-children; Tony Kinney and Kolby Banks, and a special friend Joyce McArthur. In addition to his parents Donnie is preceded in death by his wife of over 40 years Marcia Benton, brothers; William Benton, Johnny Benton and Tony Benton.

Services for Donnie M. Benton, Sr. will be Tuesday December 15, 2020 at 1 PM in the Chapel of Haisten  Funeral Home with Masonic Rites. Entombment will follow in The Chapel of Peace Mausoleum located in the Jackson City Cemetery. Mr. Rudy Mangham will officiate. The Family will receive friends at Haisten Funeral Home from 11:00 AM until the hour of  service.
