Dorothy L. (Slimmer) Firus

Mrs. Dorothy L. Slimmer Firus age 89, passed away peacefully Tuesday, October 8, 2024, at Dream Catcher's Farm, Jackson, GA.

She was born Wednesday, February 13,1935, in Millville, NJ to the late Hershell and Constance (Connie) Slimmer. 

She loved her family, was an avid reader. She was an animal lover and enjoyed watching the animals on the farm.

She was preceded in death by her son Thomas (Tommy), her daughter Patricia (Patty) Crissey San Miguel, her brother Hershell (Buddy) Slimmer, and her sister Marie Carole.

She is survived by her daughter Donna Crissey McGinnes (Jerry), her daughter Karen Crissey Mazar (John) and son Dale Crissey (Carla), 12 Grandchildren Jenna, Michele, Amy, Mandy, Melissa, Lori, Mike, Sarah, Joesph, Daniel, Hannah, and Adam along with 19 Great Grandchildren and 7 Great-Great Grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

There will not be any service for Mrs. Dorothy L. Slimmer Firus.  She chose to be cremated, with her ashes given to her children Donna, Karen, and Dale.
