Dorothy Giddens

Dorothy Nora Faulk Giddens, age 77, of Flovilla, GA passed away Monday evening, January 11, 2016 at her residence. She was a 48 year resident of Flovilla. She was born in Elko, GA April 1, 1938 daughter of the late Albert S. Faulk and Molly Viola Burnette Faulk. She was wife of the late James Garner Giddens who passed away in 2003. Mrs. Giddens was a retired employee of the Department of Family and Children’s Services in Covington, GA  She was also employed by Butts County for a number of years. She was a member of the Flovilla Baptist Church.

Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law,John Ellis and Wanda Rae Giddens, daughter, Mary Emily Giddens, and one granddaughter, Alexis Rae Giddens, She is survived by two sisters, Ella Mae Taylor of Warner Robins, GA and Vivian Latrelle Albright of Huntsville, AL.  She is also survived by one brother, Charles Bishop Faulk of Eatonton, GA She was preceded in death by her brother, Albert Burnette Faulk of Philadelphia, PA. 

The family will receive friends Friday, January 15, 2016 from 6 - 9 PM at Haisten Funeral Home in Jackson.

A graveside service will be Saturday, January 16, 2016 at 2:00PM at the Woodlawn Cemetery in Eastman, GA.
