Elaine Cargile

Elaine Cargile, age 57, passed away Saturday, June 11, 2022 at Wellstar Griffin Hospital after an extended illness. Elaine was born Tuesday, June 30, 1964 in Atlanta, GA to the late James E. “Zorro” and Paulette Wells Cargile. She graduated from Jackson High School in 1982. While in High School she began working at McIntosh State Bank, she worked there for 10 years. In 1989 she began  a 33-year career at Jones Petroleum.  She worked in various capacities of the company including  dispatch and customer service.  She attended Towaliga Baptist Church.

 Elaine is survived by her sister and brother-in-law, Teresa & David Logan of Jackson and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

She enjoyed crafting with her sister, vacationing with family and attending many events of her honorary grandchildren, Owen and Nora MacDonald.

Funeral Services for Elaine Cargile will be held Tuesday, June 14, 2022 at 1:00 PM in the Chapel of Haisten Funeral Home, Mr. Julian Wells and Rev. Jay Sanders will officiate. Burial will follow the Service in the Jenkinsburg City Cemetery. The Family will receive friends at the Funeral Home beginning at 11:00 AM on Tuesday the 14th, at other times you may visit at Elaine’s residence.
