Eva Marie Gosford

Mrs. Eva Marie Gosford, age 85 of Jackson, peacefully went to be with the Lord Friday evening, June 6, 2025, after an extended illness. She passed away at her residence surrounded by her caring Family. Mrs. Gosford was born Saturday March 2, 1940, in St. Petersburg, FL. She graduated from Northeast High School in St. Petersburg, FL with the Class of 1959 and furthered her education by taking classes in bookkeeping and accounting.  She was an Army wife for 26 years and had been employed by Smead Manufacturing Co. for 12 years later retiring from Nacom Electronics as an inspector. Mrs. Gosford was a member of the Jackson Presbyterian Church. She treasured her flowers, her simple farm life and loved long buggy rides.

Survivors include her husband of 65 years, Charles Robert Gosford (Bob) daughters & sons in law; Debbie & Tim Autry of Edgewater, Fl and Julie & Steve Leverett of Jackson, 7 grandchildren; Angela Autry, Joseph Autry, Johnathan Autry, Deidra Boan, Patricia Biles, Tiffany Eidson and Robin Leverett 8 great-grandchildren; Lyndzie Wheeler, Rylei Biles, Reid Biles, Eden Brand, Adalyn Brand, Bryson Autry, Alaina Eidson and Devyn Autry. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her son, Daniel Robert Gosford, a sister Anita Farley and her loving stepfather, Gilbert Urshel.

A graveside service will be held Tuesday June 10, 2025, at 11 AM in the Midway United Methodist Church Cemetery, 2517 High Falls Rd, Griffin, GA, Pastor Allen Schrock will officiate.
