Grace Jarrell Fuqua

Grace Jarrell Fuqua, age 98, life-long resident of Jackson, passed away Sunday, March 5, 2017 at Autumn Village in Jackson. She was born October 9, 1918 daughter of the late Andrew Augustus Fuqua and Hester Blalock Jarrell Fuqua. Ms. Grace was a 1935 graduate of Jackson High School. She attended Nursing School in Atlanta and Chicago and worked with Sylvan Grove Hospital for many years. She was a retired Registered Nurse, a businesswoman and philanthropist.

Survivors include her nieces and nephews, Debbie F. Cawthon, Bob Fuqua, Andy Fuqua, Benny Fuqua, Edwin Fuqua, Max Fuqua and Gail Fuqua.

Funeral services for Grace Jarrell Fuqua will be Thursday, March 9, 2017 at 11:00AM in the chapel of Haisten Funeral Home. Rev. Keith Joseph will officiate with interment in the Jackson City Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the funeral.
