Henry Otis Ball II

Henry Otis Ball II, of Ponce Inlet, Florida, passed away January 3, 2019 at the age of 74. Mr. Ball was a former resident of Duluth, Georgia. He was a career insurance agent for 40 years. The son of Otis and Ruth Ball, he grew up in Jackson, Georgia; he achieved eagle Scout status; was a 1962 graduate of Georgia Military Academy in College Park and attended Georgia Institute of Technology following in the footsteps of his father and grandfather. He was a lifelong supporter of Georgia Tech football.

He is survived by his son, William (Bill) Ball and wife Kelly and his granddaughter Emma of Cumming, Georgia; former wife, Wanda Green Ball of Duluth, Georgia; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by sister Eugenia (Gigi) McCrary of Augusta.

Funeral Services for Henry Otis Ball II will be Monday, January 7, 2019 at Noon (12:00PM) in the chapel of Haisten Funeral Home in Jackson. Visitation will be 1 hour prior to service. Rev. Chris Shurtz, Pastor of the Jackson United Methodist Church will officiate. Interment will be in the Jackson City Cemetery.
