Deborah Jane Waits Washington, 89, of Pratt Smith Rd., Jackson, GA passed away Monday, December 25, 2017 at the Sylvan Grove Hospital in Jackson, GA

She was born in Monticello, GA October 21, 1928 daughter of the late Elvin Levotia and Jessie Mae Couch Waits. She was a graduate of Monticello High School. Other than her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Gipson Greer Washington,a son, Bennie Washington in 2010.

Survivors include her daughter, Vicky Cowan and a son, Anthony Washington; 6 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services for Deborah Jane Washington will be held Thursday, December 28, 2017 at 2:00PM in the chapel of Haisten Funeral Home with Pastor Ricky Stubbs and Mr. Ralph Wilson officiating. Interment will be in the Jackson City Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Funeral Home Thursday from 12 noon until 2:00PM.
