Jerry Allen Benson

Jerry Allen Benson age 88 of Jackson, Georgia passed away on March 19, 2023. Jerry was born May 1st, 1934 in Atlanta, Georgia and grew up in an area of town called Ben Hill. He attended Smith High School and worked at Ruralist Press early in his career and later for John Wieland Homes. In the early '80s he retired at a surprisingly young age of 48 only to become successful in real estate for the next 20 years.

He is survived by his wife of 65 years Faye (Jackson) Benson of Jackson, Georgia and his daughter Bonnie Benson of Kennesaw, Georgia.

 In lieu of flowers the family is asking for donations to be made to Cavalry Children's Home. 1430 Lost Mountain Road Powder Springs, GA 30127.

Celebration of Life will be held May 7, 2023. Visitation from 2-3pm. The service will be held at 3pm at Stark United Methodist Church 1097 Halls Bridge Rd. Jackson, GA 30233.
