John Collins Pinson

John Collins Pinson, age 86, of West Butts County, passed away Saturday, December 12, 2015 at Dogwood Forest in Stockbridge, GA. He was born November 22, 1929 in Greenwood, SC. He served in the United States Army and was a retired truck driver. He was a member of the Fellowship Presbyterian Church. Survivors include his children, Kathy and Mack Whitaker, Jenkinsburg, GA Carol and Mike Britt, Darlington, SC, Jack and Shannon Pinson, Monticello, GA, grandchildren, Al Miles, Becky Lee Miles, Erin Weatherford, Ryann Britt; great grandchildren, Kaylen Miles, Everly Kline, Tripp Weatherford, Harper Weatherford, Savanna Kaye Moist and Autumn Burnley; sister-in-law, Jackie Eidson, brother-in-law and sister-in-law, John and Josie Allen. Funeral services for John Collins Pinson will be Monday, December 14, 2015 at 2::00PM in the chapel of Haisten Funeral Home in Jackson. Chaplain Jim Weathers will officiate with interment in the Fellowship Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12:30PM – 2:00PM.
