Obituary
Mr. Neal Allen passed away Friday afternoon June 30, 2023 after a brief illness. Neal was born Wednesday, January 7, 1948 in Jackson. He graduated Jackson High School in the Class of 1966, later serving three years in the United States Army and serving two tours in Vietnam. Neal had been employed by State Supply Company in Jackson before beginning a career with Georgia Highway Express and USF Dugan.
Survivors include; his daughter and son-in-law, Amber Marie and Ben granddaughter, Miriam Cook all of Loganville, brothers and sisters-in-law; John and Jean Allen, Sammy and Joy Allen all of Jackson and several nieces and nephews. Neal is preceded in death by his loving wife of 47 years, Dianne Young Allen, sons; Jason Allen and infant son Andy Allen in addition to his parents Troy B. Allen and Mildred Lenora Townsend Allen.
Funeral services for Joseph Neal Allen will be held Saturday, July 8, 2023, at 11:00 AM in the chapel of Haisten Funeral Home in Jackson. Pastors Keith Bridges and Preston Bridges and Mr. Rudy Mangham will officiate. Interment will follow the Service in the Worthville Baptist Church Cemetery.
