Mr. Larry Gordon “Butch” Washington, age 76, peacefully passed away Friday, December 16, 2022, at Eternal Hope Hospice in Griffin, after a brief illness. Larry was born Wednesday, March 13, 1946, in Butts County, to the late Leonard & Sarah Cook Washington. Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Ronnie Washington.

Larry is survived by his wife, Judy Washington of Jackson, his son & daughter-in-law, Bradley and Monica Washington of Midway, GA, and 2 grandchildren, Dakota George and Harley George.

Larry was a proud veteran of the United States Air Force and was a retired sheet metal worker with Delta Airlines with 30 years of dedicated service. He loved to go to flea markets and attend auctions when time allowed.

Graveside Funeral Services for Mr. Larry Gordon “Butch” Washington will be conducted Tuesday, December 20, 2022, at 2:00 PM in the Jackson City Cemetery, Mr. Rudy Mangham will officiate. The Family will receive friends Monday evening, December 19, 2022, from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at the Funeral Home.
