Laurie Jean Cates Wright, age 56, of Jackson, GA passed away February 20, 2017 at her residence. She was born September 11, 1960 daughter of Isaac Cates andCharlotte Stephens. She was a hair stylist at Great Clips.

Survivors include her husband, Steven Alvin Wright; daughter and son-in-law, Stephanie and Armando Perez, son, Wesley Wright and fiancée, LaShawnda Holt; grandchildren, Tristan Perez, Julian Perez, Nicolas Perez, one sister, two brothers and several nieces and nephews.

Laurie was cremated and there will be no service.

Haisten Funeral Home of Jackson is in charge of arrangements.
