Lewis Conner Dodson

Lewis Conner Dodson, age 83, of Flovilla, GA passed away Wednesday, December 30, 2015 at his residence. He was born May 6, 1932 son of the late Humphrey Lewis Dodson and Lois Conner Dodson. He was a veteran, serving in the United States Army during the Korean War. He was formerly employed by the Southern Railroad and was retired from the U. S. Government. He was a member of the Flovilla United Methodist Church. He was a 1949 graduate of Jackson High School.

Survivors include his wife, Vivian Rebecca (Becky) Funderburk Dodson; daughters, Patty Dodson of Roswell, GA and Alice Dodson of Flovilla; sister, Jean Dodson of Flovilla, several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral services for Lewis Conner Dodson will be Monday, January 4, 2016 at 11:00AM in the chapel of Haisten Funeral Home. Dr. Alice Rogers and Rev. Glen Vogel will officiate with interment in the Jackson City Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday afternoon from 4:00 – 6:00PM.
