Linda Elizabeth (Cowan) Raney

Linda Elizabeth Cowan Raney, a resident of DeLand, Florida, passed away on Thursday, April 10, 2025, in Daytona Beach, Florida, at the age of 78.

Linda was born Monday, May 6, 1946, in Jackson, Georgia, to the late Alton G. & Elon F. Cowan. Throughout her life, Linda remained devoted to maintaining her health and well-being, enjoying regular visits to the gym and staying active.

She is survived by her loving son, Glenn Raney, daughter in law, Tia Raney and two grandchildren Mason and Evan Raney along with her sister, Madelyn King. Her memory and the life they shared will be cherished eternally. Linda was happily married to her husband of 50 years, Freddie Raney, until his death in 2012. In addition to her husband and parents, Linda is preceded in death by two brothers: Phil Cowan and Larry Cowan.

Linda will be remembered for her dedication to living a vibrant and healthy life, and her caring spirit will be missed by all who knew her.

Memorial Services for Linda Elizabeth Cowan Raney will he conducted Saturday, May 17, 2025, at 11 AM in the Family Life Center of Stark Methodist Church.
