Linda Jewell (Knight) Roddy

Mrs. Linda Roddy, age 79 of Jackson passed away early Thursday morning, September 5, 2024, at her residence with her loving husband and grandson at her side. Linda was born Thursday, March 8, 1945, in East Point, GA to the late Glen & Grace Knight. She was a homemaker and had owned and operated a successful catering business for several years. Before her retirement she could be found helping out around the local Fire Station, cooking, gardening or shopping for that perfect antique.

Linda is survived by her husband of 63 years, Ed Marcus (Mark) Roddy, grandchildren; Ed Marcus Roddy III & Lili of Jackson, Kameron Nathanial Roddy, Kayla Diane Roddy and Krista Nikkole Roddy all of Newnan and her great grandchildren; Shelby, Zion, Liam, Axel and Lailani. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her son, Ed Marcus Roddy, Jr.

At Linda’s request there will be no formal Memorial Service. The Family will receive friends at 1800 Hwy 36 East in Jackson on Sunday, September 8, 2024, beginning at 3:00 PM.
