Linda Gene Hayes Singleton was born on September 22nd, 1943, in Memphis, Tennessee, and passed on April 6th, 2025, in Forsyth, Georgia. She was surrounded by family as her soul went to the Lord. Linda is preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Dorothy Hayes, daughter and son-in-law Debra Crippen and Robert Crippen, as well as her brother, Michael Hayes. She is survived by her husband, Dan K Singleton, children Kenneth Sizemore, Jennifer Gauvin, and her husband Robert Gauvin, as well as her son, Kirkland Singleton and his wife Lauren Singleton. Linda had ten grandchildren and four great-grandchildren with two more arriving this summer. John 15:12 says, “My command is this: Love each other as I have loved you" (NIV) Linda loved the way Jesus Christ does. She was an inspiration to everyone around her and always poured greatness into others with her words of wisdom and love. There are not enough words to describe the beauty that was within her soul, and she will be cherished until the end of time. It can confidently be said that Linda, aka Nanie, is with the one who created the Heavens and the Earth. What an honor it was to love her and to be loved and hugged by her. With a sorrowful yet joyful heart, we ask you to celebrate her beautiful life with us. The funeral services will be on April 12th, 11:00 at Haisten Funeral Home in Jackson, Georgia.
