Lisa Kersey Belvin, age 56, of Britton Rd., Jackson, GA passed away late Tuesday night as the result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
She was born June 11, 1962 daughter of the late Louis Taylor and Helen Jones Taylor who survives. She was married to Tim Kersey who passed away several years ago. She was a graduate of Indian Springs Academy and was retired from the State of Georgia as a Director with Health and Human Services. One of her biggest joys was spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Survivors include her husband, Scott Belvin, children, Casey Taylor Kersey and Lauren, Cody Timothy Kersey and Susannah, Ashley Lynn Belvin, Aaron Scott Belvin; grandchildren, Lilliana Alis Kersey, Isabella Carolla Kersey, Leah Marie Kersey, Emily Belvin, Abigail Belvin, and Scarlet Pierce; mother, Helen Jones Taylor, brother, Randy Taylor, sisters, Winnie Brown and James, Carolyn Vinson and Mike and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for Lisa Taylor Belvin will be Saturday at 11 AM at the Macedonia Baptist Church near Jackson. Dr. Ed Hoard will officiate. Interment will be in the Sandy Creek Cemetery in Butts County. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday evening from 5:00 – 7:00 PM at the funeral Home prior to the service.
