Mrs. Mahryna (Jill) Thurston Williamson, age 87 of Jackson, quietly passed away late Tuesday evening July 22, 2025, at Piedmont Macon Hospital with her devoted family at her side. Jill was born in Jackson on Tuesday, February 15, 1938, to the late Jim & Martha (Mot-Mot) Turner Thurston. She was married to Richard (Dick) Williamson, Sr., for 35 years until his death in March of 1990.
Survivors include her daughters and sons-in-law; Terela (Toye) Crank of Jackson, Tanoa & Scott Cook of Jackson, Tabi & Randy Crumbley of Locust Grove, Tandi Polk of Jackson, son and daughter-in-law, Deuce & Sandy Williamson of Jackson, 9 grandchildren; Rodney Crank, Jr., Ryan & Jennie Walden, Ragan & Blake Swearengin, Buck & Brittany Crumbley, Breanna & Adam Darnell, Trenton Cook, Brian Cook, Josh & Whitney Williamson, Sam & Amanda Williamson and 12 great-grandchildren along with her sister-in-law, Pat Glass of Griffin. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cherished cousins that she loved so much. Along with her parents and husband, she is predeceased by her sister Pebbles Thurston.
A Funeral Service for Mrs. Mahryna (Jill) Thurston Williamson will be conducted Saturday July 26, 2025, at 2 PM in the Chapel of Haisten Funeral Home, Dr. Ed Hoard will officiate. The family will receive friends at the Funeral Home for one hour prior to the Service. A private entombment will take place in the Chapel of Peace Mausoleum located in the Jackson City Cemetery at a later date.
