Olene B. Savage

Olene B. Savage, age 81, of Jackson, GA passed away Sunday, February 5, 2017 at Spalding Regional Hospital in Griffin. She was born in Dodge County, GA January 16, 1936 daughter of the late Blidge Branch and Pearl Guilliard Branch. Olene attended Griffin High School. She was employed by Colonial Life Insurance Company and a Drug Store when she resided in Griffin. She enjoyed crafts, painting, cross stitch, cooking, gardening, reading and volunteering for school and library.

Survivors include her husband since 1978, Hank Savage; daughters, Suzanne and Rex B. Miller, Lori Tilker, Sabrina Caldwell, Susan and Bryan Byers, Jan and Vinnie (Stephen) Venti; grandchildren, Ryan B. Miller, Caitlin I Caldwell, Charlie Tilker; sister, Lauretta Pounds, a niece and a nephew, Lynn Barnette and Tim Detepentigene. Her son, Kenneth Thomas Caldwell passed away in 2012.

A Memorial Service for Olene B. Savage will be Thursday, February 9, 2017 at 11:00AM in the chapel of Haisten Funeral Home. Dr. Ed Hoard will officiate.   You may sign the on-line registry by going to www.haistenfuneral.com
