Paul Ellis Nail

Mr. Paul Ellis Nail, age 76, of Jackson, Georgia passed away Monday, April 4th, 2022 at Grady Memorial Hospital after a lengthy illness. Paul was born on Monday, February 18, 1946 in Barnesville, Georgia to the late Henry Lewis Nail and the late Voda Mae Shaw Nail. He graduated from Gordon Military College prior to enlisting in the U.S. Army. Paul held certifications for HVAC and worked as a welder for many years. He loved gardening and fishing.  

Paul is proceeded in death by his wife, Nancy Jane Gilbert Nail and his son, Richard Merril Nail.  He is survived by his children, Paula Aliene Nail Lay (Sean), and Russell Alton Nail (Holly); brother and sister-in-law, Merril and Elda Nail; sister and brother-in-law, Aliene and Lt. Col. Allan Imes, Sr., brother and sister-in-law, Al and Kay Gilbert, and grandchildren, Anna Quinn Lay, Alyssa Renae Nail, Aleea Marie Nail, Alayna Nicole Nail, Alora Zane Nail, Richard Jordan Nail, Addison Raquel Nail, and Gabrielle Alexis Nail.

A graveside service for Mr. Paul Nail will be held at 3:00 P.M. on Friday, April 8, 2022 at Jackson City Cemetery with Pastor Al Gilbert officiating. Friends may visit with the family at Haisten Funeral Home in Jackson, Georgia beginning at 1:00 p.m.
