Peggy Braswell Obituary

Mrs. Peggy Colwell Garner Braswell, age 89 of Jackson, passed away Wednesday morning, June 26, 2024, at Autumn Village Assisted living where she had resided for the last few years. She was born in Butts County on Tuesday, August 21, 1934, to the late Elmo P. Colwell and Jewell Glass Colwell. She was a graduate of Jackson High School, and was a homemaker.

Mrs. Braswell is survived by her brother; Johnny Colwell of Jackson, sisters; Polly Brown of Locust Grove and Patsy Avery of Trenton, Michigan along with many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her former husbands, Charles Garner and J. Robert Braswell, her son, Mark Alan Garner and nine siblings.
