Phillip Wilson

Phillip Wayne Wilson, age 74, of Jackson, GA passed away Saturday, September 3, 2016 at his residence. He was a native of Butts County, born February 7, 1942 to Horace Copeland Wilson and Willie Ruth Barnes Wilson. He was a foreman at Wilson’s Body Shop owned by his family. He served in the United States Army from 1959 to 1962. He enjoyed hunting.

Survivors include two sisters, Dorothy Ann Wilson DeLee and Donna Wilson Gutmans; a brother, Steven Barnes Wilson, a niece, Wendy Hughes and a nephew, Jeffrey Wilson. He was preceded in death by his brother, Gerald Copeland Wilson.

A Memorial service for Phillip Wayne Wilson will be Saturday, September 10, 2016 at Noon in the chapel of Haisten Funeral Home. Rev. Preston Bridges will officiate.
