Rachel Michelle (Baker) Singleton Obituary
Rachel Michelle Baker Singleton, passed early Tuesday morning, May 12, 2026, in Forsyth, Georgia, at the age of 53. Born on Wednesday, September 20, 1972, in East Point, Georgia, she lived a life marked by love, compassion, and devotion to the people she held dear.
Rachel was a woman whose heart was always open to others. She was known for her loving spirit, her passionate nature, and her thoughtful way of caring for those around her. She was a CNA for over15 years. Caring for others was a calling that reflected the kindness and patience that came so naturally to her. Through her work, she touched many lives with comfort, dignity, and steady compassion, and she was respected for the gentle and dependable care she gave to others in need.
She was a member of Dovestone Church in Covington, Georgia. She found joy in simple but meaningful moments, especially spending time with her children and grandchildren. She also enjoyed traveling, and those who knew her best will remember the happiness she found in making memories with the people she loved. One of Rachel’s favorite pastimes was visiting yard sales, where she delighted in the search for hidden treasures and the stories that seemed to accompany each unique find.
Rachel is survived by her daughters, Kayla Beach (Cody), Kansas Rainer (Sam); her son, Dustin Singleton (Devon Partin); her father, Earl Baker; and her grandchildren, Kayden Rainer, Coley Rainer, Stetson Beach, Walker Rainer, Henley Singleton, Meredith Beach, and Ivy Rainer. She is also survived by her brother, Richard Baker; her sister, Tabitha Sprayberry (Tommy); two nephews, Gage Sprayberry and Danny Baker; and two nieces, Harlee Terpening and Autumn Baker. Her family was the center of her world, and she cherished each of them deeply.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Michael Singleton, and her mother, Margie Baker. Their memories remained close to her heart, and she carried their love with her throughout her life.
Rachel’s life was a reflection of the values she held most dear. She gave generously of herself, loved without hesitation, and left a lasting impression on everyone blessed to know her. She will be remembered for the many ways she made life brighter for those around her.
