Rebecca Judith (Judy) Salee

Rebecca Judith Salee, “Judy” age 75, resident of Jackson Ga passed on to her heavenly grace on Tuesday, January 24, 2023, having experienced several years of declining health. Judy was born Tuesday, March 11, 1947, in Crawford Long Atlanta hospital.   She had two sisters and three brothers.  She was mother to six children. In addition to her motherly love, she loved cooking, gardening, painting, photography and sewing. Known for her carrot cake, pineapple upside down cake, oh, her pound cake as well. She lived in Georgia, Alabama, Alaska, California, Tennessee, Texas and Kansas. It is believed she loved Blue Ridge Ga the most before settling in Jackson Ga. She held a variety of job skills some of which are car salesman, home renovator and real estate entrepreneur. Her last major employment was as a Certified Nurse Assistant.

She is preceded in death by her parents Emmaline Barnett Nolan and Charles Nolan, her husbands; Curtis Wood, William Hite and Stephen Salee, her twin daughters Denise and Donna Wood and two brothers Ralph and Martin Nolan.

Judy is survived by her children Angela Rosado, David Hite, Jennifer Nelson, Heather Salee; Grandchildren Dylan, Chris, Tiffiny, Meagan, Ethan, Erin, Caleb, Adam; Sisters Jeanette D’Amico, Sherry Dennis; brother Terry Nolan; Aunts Margie Nichols, Lucy Windham and a multitude of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

While the dew is still on the roses
And the voice I hear, falling on my ear
The Son of God discloses

And He walks with me
And He talks with me
And He tells me I am His own
And the joy we share as we tarry there
None other has ever known

A Celebration of life Ceremony will be held Sunday, February 26, at 2:00 PM at group shelter B, Ft. Yargo Stater Park in Winder, GA.

Great appreciation and blessings to the support Judy has received from the many medical professionals at Spalding Regional Hospital and Brightmoor Hospice in Griffin. A special thanks and warm appreciation for the staff and care givers at Autumn Village 2 for their support and for all the love.
