Richard Paul Durmire

Richard Paul Durmire, age 64, of High Falls passed away September 29, 2018 at Piedmont-Henry Medical Center. He was born August 29, 1954 in Atlanta, GA son of the late Huellon Paul Durmire and Doris Ann Britt Durmire who survives. He was a store manager for Wayfield Foods.

Survivors include his wife, Shelia Joyce Young Durmire, children, Rona Patrice Hasan, Kasey Howard, Richard Blake Durmire and Brandon Lee Maroney, his mother, Doris Ann Britt Durmire, sister, Kathy Garrett, brothers, Ronald Durmire and Robert Durmire, seven grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a son, Jason Paul Durmire in 2006.

Funeral services for Richard Paul Durmire will be Thursday, October 4, 2018 at 2 PM in the chapel of Haisten Funeral Home in Jackson. Rev. Joey Durmire will officiate with interment in the Jackson City Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1 – 2 PM on Thursday.
