Robert Gerald Smith

Robert Gerald Smith, age 82, passed away Monday February 24, 2020. He was born in Hartford, AL, the youngest of sixteen brothers and sisters, to the late Almon Clemons and Mattie McCall Smith on November 30, 1937.

Gerald was a self-employed professional tile setter having preformed his skill in various places all across the nation. He was also a proud veteran of the US Navy.

Gerald is survived by his children; Robert & Kim Smith, Tony Smith, Kim & Paul Mathews, grandchildren; Samantha Mathews, William Mathews, Justin Smith, Tonya Smith, Michael Smith and Lauren Smith, brother; Buck Smith. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his wife, Christine Smith, son Ray Smith, twelve sisters and two brothers.

A memorial service for Robert Gerald Smith will be held in the Chapel of Haisten Funeral Home, Saturday February 29, 2020 at 12:00 Noon, Pastor Jack Pickel will officiate.
