Sandra (Sandy) Lee (Pike) Barnes

Mrs. Sandra Lee Pike Barnes, age 63 of Jackson, GA passed away on Wednesday, March 26, 2025. Sandy was born on Thursday, April 20, 1961, in Monticello, GA to Marvin Pike and the late Victoria James Kinard.

Sandy is preceded in death by her mother Vickie Kinard, stepfather Ray Kinard, mother & father-in-law Walter & Joyce Barnes. Sandy is survived by her husband of 46 years, Dan Barnes, son Adam Barnes (Alli); daughter Holly Barnes Duncan; and fur baby Fancy. Grandchildren: Lyla Melton, Anna Barnes, Avery Barnes, Audrey Barnes and Sadie Duncan her father, Marvin Pike, sisters and brother-in-law: Pamela Pike, Sherry Kinard, Marilyn Garrison (Matt), sisters-in-law: Angie Barnes-Peeples (Gil), Cathy Barnes Mattison, uncles: Victor James (Betty), Jackie James and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Sandy attended Pleasant Grove Church of Jackson, GA since her teenage years and she was currently serving as the Financial Administrator. She retired from GA Farm Bureau after 25 years of service in 2023. Sandy enjoyed traveling and serving at her Church in any capacity, but most importantly her kindness reflected a servant’s heart. She loved spending time with her sugar babies and her family. Sandy was an exceptional mother to Adam and Holly and a mother figure to many others. She was the most loving wife to Dan.

Funeral Services will be held in the Chapel of Haisten Funeral Home of Jackson, GA on Wednesday, April 2, 2025, at Noon. The family will receive friends prior to the Service beginning at 10 AM. Dr. Bradley Banks and Mr. Rudy Mangham will officiate. Interment will follow in the Jackson City Cemetery.
