Sara Lucille Thompson

Sara Lucille Jarrell Thompson, age 87, of Peachtree City, GA passed away November 11, 2018 at Newnan Health Care and Rehab in Newnan, GA. She was born in Pine Mountain, GA May 14, 1931 daughter of the late Edgar Jones Jarrell and the late Renetta Abner Jarrell. She was the wife of the late Willie Lee Thompson. She was administrative secretary for the Central Georgia EMC.

Survivors include her children, Sheila Gibson and Steve, Eddie Blankenship and Jerry, grandchildren, Travis Gibson, Jason Gibson and Jason Ladner and sister, Emily Jarrell.

Funeral services for Sara Lucille Thompson will be held Thursday, November 15, 2018 at 12:00 noon in the chapel of Haisten Funeral Home in Jackson. Dr Bob Whitmire will officiate with interment in the Macedonia Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the funeral service.
