Selenia Marie Puckett

Selenia Marie Puckett, age 70, passed away on Wednesday, January 9, 2025.  She was born on February 1,1954, in Atlanta, Georgia.  She is preceded in death by her parents Edna Sue Berry and Samuel Sweatman; her sisters Wanda Nash, Jeanie Coons and Nancy Diaz, and her brother Hank Sweatman.  

Marie is survived by her husband Alvin Puckett; brother Johnny Sweatman; sons Chase Puckett, Jeremy Puckett, Jesse Puckett, and nephew Tommy Coons; her daughter Patricia Berry; and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.  

Marie and Alvin met at Owens-Illinois Glass Manufacturing in Atlanta, Georgia.  She went on to complete her business education in Waco, Texas, and later worked for U.S. Customs at the Hartsfield Atlanta Airport.  

She was an avid gardener and a dedicated prayer warrior with a contagious sense of humor.  She loved to laugh, and she loved her husband and children with an immeasurable and sacrificial love.
