Stanley William Barnes

Stanley William Barnes, Sr. age 92, of Jackson, GA, passed away March 7, 2019 at his residence in Jackson, GA. He was born in Carrollton, GA, April 8, 1926 son of the late Will Emanuel Barnes and the late Viola Stripling Barnes. He was married to Betty Richardson Barnes for 67 years. He worked for MARTA in Atlanta for 31 years. He was in the Army during Korea.

Survivors include his wife Betty Richardson Barnes , son, Stanley William (Bill) Barnes, Jr. , Daughter, Cheryl Edge and Tony ; Grandson, , Stephen Anthony Edge , Granddaughter, Christy Edge , Sister Wynell and Tommy Brown , Several Nieces, Nephews and Cousins.

Funeral services for Stanley William Barnes, Sr. will be held Monday, March 11, 2019 at 11:00AM in the Chapel of Haisten Funeral Home. Rev. Lane Sanders is officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the Chapel. Interment will be at Forest Hills Memorial Gardens at 1:30PM, 722 Conley Road, Forest Park, GA 30297, with Military Honors.
