Tammy Denise (Popham) Martin

Tammy Denise Popham Martin, age 55 of Lamar County, passed away late Thursday night, August 3, 2023, at Wellstar North Fulton in Roswell, GA after a sudden illness. Tammy was born to the late Donald Popham and Teresa Mount Popham on Friday, June 7, 1968, in Decatur, GA. Tammy was a devoted homemaker, Mother and Grandmother who dearly loved her family and adored her grandchildren. In her spare time, she enjoyed going to yard sales and searching for antiques, and she was a passionate animal lover.

Tammy is survived by her daughters and son in law; Tiffany Farmer of College Park and Tabitha & Tyler Sutton of McDonough, three grandchildren; Tritt Sutton, Tate Sutton and Jayla Farmer, her brother Michael Todd Popham of Jackson. Tammy is also survived by Pat Franklin of Jackson who has been a long-time special friend of the family. Along with her parents Tammy is preceded in death by her sister, Tracey Kay Garland.

A graveside service for Tammy Denise Popham Martin will be conducted Sunday, August 6, 2023, at 2 PM in the Jackson City Cemetery. The Family will receive friends at the Funeral Home Sunday, immediately prior to the Service, beginning at 1:00 and lasting until 1:30 PM. Mr. Charles Sheets will officiate the Service.
