Tammy Dianne McEver

Tammy Dianne Smith McEver, age 48, of McDonough, GA passed away Wednesday, February 7, 2018 at Spalding Regional Hospital in Griffin, GA with her loving family by her side. She was born in Atlanta August 19, 1969. Tammy was a 1987 graduate of Jackson High School. She was a former employee of McIntosh State Bank. For the past 30 years she was employed as Family Program Specialist for the Federal Department of Defense at Dobbins AFB in Marietta. Tammy was very devoted to her job and had many friends there. She dearly loved the outdoors and camping was special to her.

Survivors include her husband, William Terrell “Terry” McEver of McDonough; children, Jessica Christine Hammond, Kimberlee Danielle and Taylor Murphy, Grandson, Rowland Hayes Murphy, sister, Dawn and John Richardson, parents, Pebbles and Glenn Smith, niece, Skyler Heath and fiance', Austin Daniel, mother-in-law, Betty McEver, grandmother, Frankie Kersey and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Funeral services for Tammy Dianne Smith McEver will be Friday, February 9, 2018 at 4:00pm in the chapel of Haisten Funeral Home. Dr. Ed Hoard and Chaplain Leslie Nelson will officiate. Interment will be in the Sardis Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1:00 – 4:00pm Friday.
