Mrs. Tammy Lynn Rosier Remington, age 63 of Jenkinsburg, peacefully passed away Saturday afternoon, September 9, 2023, at Piedmont Henry Hospital after an extended illness. She was born to the late R. I (Mickey) Rosier and Joyce Nadine Feaster Rosier in Pamana City, Fl on Wednesday, October 28, 1959. She was a member of the Jackson High School class of 1977. After High School she attended Griffin Technical School and began her career as a Licensed Practical Nurse. During her lengthy career, she had been employed as office manager for Dr. Sanjeeva Rao and had also been on the nursing staff at Westbury Medical Care Home. Later in her career she worked as a School Nurse for Butts County School System, and she retired as School Nurse at Strong Rock Christian School. She was a member of First Baptist Church Jackson and then Rock Springs Church for many years. She loved to host bible studies in her home.
Tammy is survived by her husband of 43 years, Dennis Arthur Remington, son and daughter-in-law; Luke & Gracie Remington, daughter and son-in-law; Laura & Charlie Hearn, granddaughter; Emma Elizabeth Hearn, sister and brother-in-law; Teresa and Lee Parrish all of Jackson, along with many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for Tammy Lynn Rosier Remington will be held Thursday, September 14, 2023, at 6 PM in the Providence Church at Rock Springs located at 219 Rock Springs Church Rd, Milner, GA 30257. Her son, Rev. Luke Remington will officiate. You may visit with the Family Thursday afternoon, for one hour immediately prior to the service beginning at 5 PM. Interment will follow the Service in the Jackson City Cemetery. You may express condolences online by visiting www.haistenfuneral.com
