Terry George Coffey

Mr. Terry George Coffey, passed away peacefully on October 26, 2025, in Jackson, Georgia, at the age of 61. Born on January 10, 1964, in Manchester, Georgia, Terry was a man whose life was as rich and fulfilling as the relationships he nurtured throughout his years.

Terry's early years in Manchester laid the foundation for a life full of love, laughter, and the joy of creating with his hands. He was a beacon of strength and support, a role model to his family, and a friend to all who had the pleasure of knowing him. Terry's special friend of 43 years, Gayla Towery and her son, Lee Towery both have stood by him through thick and thin, sharing countless memories that will be treasured forever.

Terry was the beloved son of Shirley Coffey and the late Frank Coffey. He was a caring brother to David & Dianna Coffey and Randy Coffey. His light shined brightly as an uncle to many nieces and nephews, who will carry forward his legacy of kindness. Terry was preceded in death by his father, Frank Coffey, and his brother, Gary Wayne Coffey, both of whom left an indelible mark on his heart.

His passion for building and fixing things extended beyond his professional life, as he often lent his skills to those in need. Terry's love for the outdoors was evident to all who knew him. He found solace in fishing, where the tranquility of nature was his companion, when he wasn’t fishing, he could be found working in his yard. The things he built with his hands were not just structures but symbols to his craft.

A graveside service to honor the life of Mr. Terry George Coffey will be held on October 30, 2025, at 1:00 pm in the Jackson City Cemetery. Friends and loved ones are invited to gather for visitation at the Funeral Home one hour prior to the Service, Mr. Rudy Mangham will officiate.
