Thomas Daniel Washington “Danny”, a one-of-a-kind individual known for his unwavering faith in Jesus Christ and care for others, made his first appearance Heaven side on March 22, 2025. Born on April 21, 1953.
Danny lived a life filled with love and adoration for his family and friends.
For the last thirty years, Danny occupied the back pew at Cedar Rock Church. He would want you to know the importance of making Jesus Christ your savior and to live your life fully surrendered to him.
Danny is survived by; his wife of 39 years and compassionate caretaker, Denise Washington, his sons Phil (Amy Washington) and Christopher Washington (Katie Washington), daughters Kimberly Hamby (Brad Hamby) and Joni Washington with whom he was able to reunite with in Heaven after thirty years, grandsons Ethan, Charlie, Isaac, and Wyatt Washington, Nick and Patrick Baker, granddaughters Scarlett and Dylann Blaire “Sissy” Hamby, and Hadlee Washington. Siblings Charles Washington (Nancy Washington), Patty Moss (Lanier Moss), and Bruce Washington, whom Danny claimed as his very own son (Cathy Washington).
Danny is proceeded in death by his mother Frances Eaton (John Eaton) father Harold Washington, brother-in-law Lanier Moss and daughter Joni Washington.
Services for Danny, our rowdy, country, one of a kind father, husband, brother, and friend, will be held at Hasten Funeral Home as follows: Visitation Tuesday night, March 25, 2025, from 6 to 8pm. Funeral services led by Pastor Greg Johns on Wednesday March 26, 2025, at 11:30am.
