Tina Marie (greenwood) Frye

Mrs. Tina Marie Greenwood Frye, age 59 of Jackson, passed away early Saturday morning July 5, 2025, at Wellstar Spalding Hospital, after a brief illness. Tina was born in Atlanta on Thursday July 8, 1965, to the late Thurman Edward Greenwood and Margaret Jane (Maggie) Greenwood. Tina graduated Jackson High School in 1983, she later earned an associate degree and began working in the legal field. She was employed by The Sexton Law Firm and the Fears, Lawrence & Turner Law Firm. She was an active member of Rock Springs Church. Her favorite hobbies include singing, crocheting, watching auctions on Facebook, taking trips to the beach and the mountains and especially cooking her famous banana pudding.

She is survived by her husband of 24 years, Douglas Ralph Frye, daughter and son-in-law Kasey & Thomas Baker of Locust Grove, son and daughter-in-law, Travis & Kelsey Alford of Milledgeville, 2 grandchildren; Bentlee Alford and Acelin Alford, 3 brothers; Ed & Norma Greenwood of Barnesville, Terry & Sharon Duffey of Meansville, Larry & Beth Duffey of Jackson, 1 sister, Karen & Glenn Wilson of Jackson.

The Family will hold a Funeral Service for Mrs. Tina Marie Greenwood Frye on Wednesday July 9, 2025, at 11 AM in the Providence Church at Rock Springs, Dr. Benny Tate will officiate.
