Walter C. "Pete" Bond

Walter Clifford “Pete” Bond, age 91, formerly of Warner Robins, GA passed away peacefully at Hospice LaGrange in LaGrange, GA on March 9, 2018. He was born September 28 1926 in Butts County, GA son of the late Otha and Florence Jenkins Bond. He was a veteran of WWII serving in the United States Army. Pete was a retired Grocer. He was a member of the VFW and loved to square dance.

Survivors include his daughter, Kathy Bond Lewis; grandsons, Trent Alan Lewis and Ryan Lee Lewis; great grandchildren, Lia Eleni Lewis, Georgia Elizabeth Lewis and Annabelle Reese Lewis. Deceased sister and brothers are Gladys Bond Dorough, John Emory Bond, Doyle Bond and Tom Bond.

Funeral services for Walter Clifford “Pete” Bond will be Tuesday, March 13, 2018 at 2:00PM in the chapel of Haisten Funeral Home in Jackson. Dr. Ed Hoard will officiate with interment in the Cedar Rock Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1:00 – 2:00PM on Tuesday.
