Mr. Zack Olin Carter peacefully passed away Wednesday afternoon, October 11, 2023, at his residence after an extended illness. He was surrounded by his devoted Family at the time of his death. Zack was a self-employed plumber and HVAC contractor by profession. He was well known and respected in Butts County and surrounding counties where he performed his skill for over 55 years. When he wasn’t working, he could be found in the woods, hunting or on the lake fishing, after his illness he started watching Yellowstone, and he didn’t miss an episode.
Zack is survived by his wife of 53 years Janie Elaine Carter, daughters, Frankie Carter Clack and April Carter, daughter and son-in-law Brandy and Butch Nieman, two grandchildren: Nick Crank and Carter Nieman.
